Project 52: Family History

This month is Darren's turn to plan the dates and for this date night he chose to check out the new FamilySearch website, where you can look up ancestors and work on family history. It was a little slow going at first, but after finding ourselves on the site, we were able to see back many generations. It was interesting to look at the dates and places people were born and died; with such little information it was interesting to see how much you could tell about a person. Both of us had ancestors mostly from England, but Darren had a few from Scotland also. It was fun to learn a little about Darren's side of the family and have him tell me stories about a few of his ancestors.

What an exciting date - fancy finding yourselves on there. Have bookmarked and will check out (thanks for the pointer!) xo

PS all the best people come from England!

Great idea! You said you found yourselves? how did you get your information on there or was it already there?

I have been thinking of doing that too after seeing that show with Phoebe from friends... It is so emotional for the people on there! Good thinking!
