At her 6 month doctor visit, we were worried about her gross motor skills being a little behind. So I took her to be evaluated by a physical therapist. She was only slightly behind, as were the boys, but they were worried because she was so quiet. I had thought that was a good (great) thing. I think we were so busy all summer long, that we didn't take the time to talk to her as much as we should have. Anyway, they said she was at a 3 month level. So the physical therapist came to work with her trunk strength which was supposed to fix everything. But in the week between the evaluation and the visit, Grandma and Grandpa stayed with the kids while Darren and I went to Seattle and fixed her. When the therapist came, Eva was "talking" and adding consonants to her sounds, which is apparently an 8 month skill. Now she is also rolling over both ways, sitting a bit by herself, and grabbing things. We are blessed to have such a beautiful soul in our family!

I'm so glad she's "catching up". We love her!
