Another trip to Ferron Oct 2013

Davis had been begging to go back to Grandma and Grandpa's house, but since he started kindergarten, our schedule was a little less open than it used to be.  Finally, UEA vacation came and we headed down to Ferron.  More of what the boys love: helping Grandpa, riding the horses and digging in the dirt.  This time, though, brought a first.  Davis asked Grandpa if he could ride the horse.  Out of the blue.   He has been scared to for several years.  And Grandpa was wonderful to saddle RJ up, walk him around to get the jimmies out of him, and let Davis ride.  Noah and Davis also loved feeding RJ apples this time.  Now, whenever we have apples for lunch, Noah tells us he is a horse because horses love apples.
