This is the conversation Davis and I had this morning while we were getting ready for the day.
Davis: What am I going to call my kids?
Me: Who are your kids?
Davis: I don't have any kids now. When I grow up.
Me: Oh right. Do you mean what are you going to name your kids?
Davis: Yes.
Me: Well, what do you want to name them?
Davis: I like Baker. And Josh and Body. (all boys he knows now)
Me: Ok.
Davis: But I'm not going to have three kids.
Me: Oh you're not? How many?
Davis: However many come out of the mommy.
Me: Oh. Right.
a little later . . .
Davis: What should be the mommy's name?
Me: I don't know.
What a kid! He always knows and understands a little more than I think he does.
