Spontaneous Trip to Midway, October 29-30, 2015

"Let's go somewhere,"  I said.
"Ok," Darren said.  Moment of silence to realize he hadn't said no.
"Davis doesn't have school on Friday.  How about this weekend?" (It was Monday before Halloween)
"Ok,"  Darren said.

And so we asked Jackie to see if any rooms were available at Worldmark in Midway.  And there was one room available for Thursday night.  So we booked it.  And we had a great time!  Lots of swimming, some Wii time, everyone got to choose their own dinner (Noah and Eva had cereal, Davis had a Subway sandwich, and Darren and I had Mexican.), and the boys stayed up late watching a movie.  The next day we played tourists in Midway, driving through town, seeing the Homestead crater, trying grilled cheese sandwiches at the local cheese factory, and doing a little shopping in Park City.  With the exception of Noah throwing up twice on the way there (I caught it both times in a ziplock bag!  And he was fine after that), it was a perfect family getaway!
