Panthers and Resurection

Davis loves to play animal vs animal.  He chooses an animal for himself and whichever adult is willing to get down and play.  Usually it's some sort of big cat fight.  Panthers, tigers, lions, leopards, cheetahs.  Noah is always a cheetah because that's one of his favorite words.  And then Davis attacks.  And the adult (me or Darren) is usually not allowed to attack back, per Davis's instructions.  It's good, physical fun and we all enjoy it.

Yesterday, Darren and Davis were playing and I was cooking in the kitchen.  I believe they were both panthers (Davis and looked up the differences between all the big cats and which one would win in a fight  - panthers, which are actually black jaguars, would usually win, except when fighting lions.)  Davis apparently "killed" Darren, who took the opportunity to lay on the floor for as long as possible.  Then I heard Davis say to Darren, "When you come back to life and Heavenly Father puts you together again, come chase us."

You just can't make up this kind of stuff.

This just shows that something you're teaching him is getting through! Davis will always keep your life interesting!
